Ricardo Ruipérez is arguably best known as “the other half” of the Murcia rock group M Clan, which was formed in 1993 and rose to nationwide fame with a string of hit albums, but the guitarist who has accompanied singer Carlos Tarque ever since also has a burgeoning solo career and is currently touring with a collection of songs from his album “En la distancia corta”.

For many years the “quiet man” behind M Clan, critical opinion is that now that he has “found his voice” Ruipérez deserves praise for this album, which contains the single “El bosque de los pájaros”. Some discern the influence of figures such as Tom Petty, and indeed since the inception of M Clan southern rock has been one of the group’s inspirations.

The concert at the Auditorio Víctor Villegas in Murcia on 6^th December begins at 21.30 with tickets priced at 18 euros.
