Me Cuesta Tanto Olvidarte recreates the biggest Mecano hits of the 80s and 90s

During the 1980s and 1990s the group Mecano, consisting of Ana Torroja and the brothers Nacho and José María Cano, enjoyed a level of success which was hitherto unprecedented in the Spanish music scene, with their instantly catchy melodies and clever arrangements bringing them a string of number 1 hits. Mecano is still the best-selling Spanish ever, with sales of over 25 million albums worldwide, and their songs retain a freshness and an apparent familiarity even among people who have in fact never heard them before!

The tribute show to the group which is visiting Murcia on 28^th February features Belén Alarcón, who bears a striking physical and vocal resemblance to Ana Torroja, and by recreating the wardrobe and choreography of the original live performances this has become arguably the best of many projects to imitate Mecano.

The concert at the Auditorio Víctor Villegas on 28^th February begins at 21.30 with tickets available at between 25 and 35 euros.
