The 10^th annual Rotary charity concert at the main auditorium in the city of Murcia

The annual Rotary charity concert in the city of Murcia on 19^th February features the Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra (OSRM) and the “Manuel Massotti” choir of the Conservatorio in the regional capital, performing alongside the flamenco vocalists Lidia Plaza and Shakira Martínez under the baton of conductor José Miguel Rodilla.

The first half of the program for the evening contains two works by Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga: his “Los Esclavos Felices”, composed at the age of just 13, and his Symphony in D minor, his best-known piece.

After the interval the atmosphere becomes distinctly Andalusian with performances of El Amor Brujo by Manuel de Falla and Seco de Arpe’s “Canciones Lorquianas”.

The concert at the Auditorio Víctor Villegas on 19^th February begins at 20.00 with an admission price of 10 euros, all proceeds being donated to the Obra Social Marista charity organization in Alcantarilla.
