Minimum temperatures are on the up
YELLOW ALERT FOR STRONG WINDSState meteorological agency AEMET has issued a yellow alert for strong winds on Thursday 4th June in the Altiplano, which is loosely Jumilla and Yecla and can expect strong westerly winds gusting up to 70 k/h from midday until 20:00. There are no other warnings in the region.TEMPERATURES RISE IN MURCIA REGIONHowever, minimum temperaturas are expected to rise noticeably on Thursday; the capital city of Murcia is not expected to drop below 22 degrees Celsius; Cartagena will remain around 20º; Caravaca de la Cruz and Yecla can expect stay at 16 and 17º respectively; and Lorca will not drop below 19º according to the forecast.It’s going to be a hot day right across the region, as maximums scrape past 30 degrees Celsius; Murcia City could go up to 35 º; Lorca 32º, and Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena and Yecla, will all be around 30º.Join the Murcia Weather Watch group on Facebook to keep up to date with all the latest forecasts and weather related stories: https://www.facebook.com/groups/RegionOfMurciaWeatherWatch/.
