Work completed on the Senda del Albacar path around Mula castle The Mayor of Mula, Juan Jesús Moreno, paid a visit on September 13 to the Senda del Albacar, one of the paths which skirts the hilltop on which the castle of Mula stands, to see the results of the restoration work which has just been completed on the walkway.

Work completed on the Senda del Albacar path around Mula castle At a cost of just over 88,000 euros the work has included improvements to the walking surface itself, the strengthening of the Moorish water storage tank along the route and the installation of improved wooden posts and railings alongside the walkway. A future phase will include the restoration of the tower which stands at the western end of the Albacar and improved signposting.
