September 23 to 30 World Tourism Day guided tours in Mula
A host of visits including Roman remains, a Catholic holy relic and the medieval castle of Mula
In order to mark World Tourism Day the Tourism department of the Town Hall of Mula in north-western Murcia is organizing a range of activities and events under the slogan of “Be a Tourist in your own Town”, although of course visitors from elsewhere are also welcome!
The first three of these tours coincide with the annual Fair and Fiestas in Mula, making them an additionally attractive time of the year to visit!
The activities include four guided tours, scheduled for the following times:
Friday September 23: Guided visit for children around the remains of the Roman Villa of Los Villaricos. Starts at 10.30 on site, price 4 euros for over-12s, free for under-12s.
Saturday September 23: The History of Mula and Locally Sourced Products. Starts at 19.00 at the Convento San Francisco, price 4 euros (including tastings of products at the end of the tour). Payment in advance by Bizum.
Sunday September 24: Guided tour for children of the Convento de San Francisco. Starts at 12.00 midday at the Convento, free of charge.

All of these tours are being held in Spanish.
