ARCHIVED - Get scratching says San Pedro del Pinatar council
Los Alcázares wants to stop its residents scratching, San Pedro del Pinatar wants them to start scratching; must be spring!
There’s a lot of noise about scratching going on around the Mar Menor this spring; whilst neighbouring municipality Los Alcázares is busy spraying its streets with mosquito larvicide in an attempt to prevent its residents from scratching, San Pedro del Pinatar is doing the opposite and is pulling out all the stops to encourage its residents to scratch as much as possible!
In their case, the council of San pedro would like as many residents as possible to go out and spend money in the local businesses of the municipality to support them through what is an undeniably difficult period, with covid causing havoc to the finances of many local shops.
To participate in the promotion:
Spend an amount equal to or greater than € 5 in any of the 80 establishments adhered to the campaign, and receive one of the 10,000 “Scratch Cards” that include prizes of 1 to 50 euros, and add up to more than 6,000 euros.
Each awarded "scratch" will be valid for a single use in a store other than the one in which it was given between March 22 to May 2.
And that’s it!
The campaign will be complemented in the coming weeks with the distribution of floral decorative elements and personalized shopping bags with a spring theme in the participating establishments.
So spend some money and get scratching!
