The Murcian regional health authority has announced that online booking is being opened up from Tuesday June 22 for those aged 35 to 39 years of age and living in the municipalities of Lorca, Abanilla, Cehegín, Mula, Yecla and Fortuna.
Appointments will be offered from Wednesday, June 23 onwards and it is anticipated that booking will be opened out to other municipalities for the same age bracket within the Region of Murcia as first vaccinations for the higher age groups are concluded.
The Ministry says that more than 60% of those aged between 40 and 49 years have now been given a first vaccination.
This week the Murcian authorities expect to vaccinate around 130,000 people.
This week the region is expecting the delivery of 95,940 vaccines from Pfizer, 16,300 from AstraZeneca, 9,800 from Moderna and 4,200 from Janssen.
According to the latest data from the vaccination report, the Region of Murcia has administered a total of 1,075,131 vaccinations to date.
92.1% of the population aged over 50 years of age have been given at least one dose, and 58.6% of this age group are now fully immunized, having received two doses.
