The veteran Spanish singer performs in Murcia during her Más Cerca tour

Paloma San Basilio is one of the leading Spanish singers of her generation, and has been awarded a Latin Grammy Award for lifetime excellence in Spanish music. During her career she has starred in the Spanish-language production of “Evita” in Madrid, represented her country at the 1985 Eurovision Song Contest in Gothenburg and recorded with Plácido Domingo and José Carreras among many others.

She has performed all over the world at venues including Carnegie Hall in New York and Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, and apart from Evita has also starred in productions of My Fair Lady and Sunset Boulevard.

Also a widely appreciated painter, she is now involved in her “Más Cerca” tour, which includes this performance at the Auditorio Víctor Villegas in Murcia on 4^th April, beginning at 21.00 with tickets available at between 25 and 65 euros.
