ARCHIVED - 11th October to 5th January, Correspondencias exhibition at the Sala Verónicas venue in the city of Murcia

Pepe Espaliú and Juan Muñoz were two of the most important Spanish artists of the late 20^th century

An exhibition featuring 14 works by Pepe Espaliú and Juan Muñoz at the Sala Verónicas in the city of Murcia consists of a dialogue between two artists who were central to the internationalization of Spanish art during the 1980s and 1990s.

This is the first time the two men have exhibited together, although they have coincided in the past in collective displays, and in order for the “Correspondencias” project to become a reality after their deaths it has been necessary to rely on loans from the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo in Barcelona and other art museums and galleries in the Basque Country and Andalucía, as well as private collectors throughout the country.

The exhibition at the Sala Verónicas can be visited from Tuesday to Saturday between 10.00 and 14.00 and from 17.00 to 21.00, and on Sundays and public holidays from 10.00 to 14.00.
