ARCHIVED - 8th to 18th November Titeremurcia puppet festival
Most of the activities are concentrated in the regional capital of Murcia city but there are some events in other municipalities
The Titeremurcia puppet festival continues to grow annually, and this year there are performances in not only the capital city, but also in other areas of the region.
Puppeteering in the 21st century is a far cry from the shows held in family units of former centuries and some of these shows are technologically highly advanced, although the spirit and essence of puppeteering remain.
Dialogue is in Spanish unless otherwise indicated.
Most of the events are paid and this is indicated on the leaflet provided, along with the venues. Click for leaflet showing full list of events
Unfortunately the webpage www.titeremurcia.com is all in Spanish, and those with any queries about the events listed may prefer to contact the local tourist office if they require assistance. Click here for a list of regional tourist offices.
Tickets can be purchased online. Click here for ticket purchase information and link
