30 degrees in autumn: Murcia weather forecast September 25-October 1

Daytime temperatures are continuing to top 30ºC in the Region of Murcia in this last week of September, and the first of autumn. The warmest place will be the central area of the Region, such as Molina de Segura, Murcia capital city, Totana and Alhama de Murcia, but the rest of the Region will also have temperatures in the high 20s at the hottest point of the day, around mid-afternoon.

Despite a drop in temperatures at night which started last week, minimums remain around 12-19ºC as we move into October – higher on the coast and cooler in the north and centre of the Region.

What’s more, there is no sign of things changing any time soon as the forecast for this week is for nothing but sunshine mixed with some infrequent cloud cover, so much so that by Sunday October 1 it could even get to be as warm as 34ºC in central Murcia and near Lorca!

In contrast to recent weeks, not a drop of rain has been forecast for the Region by Spain’s State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). It will also not be too blowy, with the windiest day of the week being this Monday September 25, when wind speeds could reach up to maximums of 17kmh on the coast of Cartagena and 20kmh in Cieza, neither of which are not very strong at all.

Tuesday September 26: Min 12ºC; Max 30ºC
Wednesday September 27: Min 13ºC; Max 30ºC
Thursday September 28: Min 14ºC; Max 32ºC
Friday September 29: Min 12ºC; Max 31ºC
Saturday September 30: Min 12ºC; Max 32ºC
Sunday October 1: Min 14ºC; Max 34ºC
