29th November, Paco Zero, drama at the Centro Párraga in Murcia

A reflective and witty drama at the contemporary arts centre in the regional capital

“Paco Zero” is a production by Paco Abellán, and portrays a day in the life of a 50-year-old assistant nurse who has been forced out of the world of theatre, his true vocation, by the economic crisis. He talks about his theatre workshops with the elderly, reflects on his life as an actor and allows the audience into his lonely world before revealing how he has found a substitute passion on which to lavish his affection.

Paco Abellán is an actor, director and drama teacher with over thirty years of experience, who in his most recent works has developed a sense of humour close to sarcasm, which he directs mainly at himself. But his abrasive tone is added to by a humour and tenderness which it makes it permissible for all of us to laugh at ourselves.

The performance on 29^th November begins in Espacio 0 of the Centro Párraga at 21.00 with admission priced at 8 euros. Tickets can be booked on 968 351410 and via the centre’s website, or at the door from 19.00 onwards on the day of the performance.
