Uruguayan poetry and music at the main auditorium in the city of Murcia

Conductor Diego Naser, singer Silvana Marrero and pianist Carlos Darakjian accompany the Region of Murcia Symphony Orchestra in a performance of “Benedetti Sinfónico”. This work is based on the album “Señales”, by Darakjian and Marrero, in which they set to music the works of their Uruguayan compatriot, poet and dramatist Mario Benedetti.

“Señales” shows the influence contemporary Uruguayan pop music as well as jazz and South American styles such as candombe, milonga and tango, and the result of this combination with the work of Benedetti is a comprehensive expression of Uruguayan identity.

The concert at the Auditorio Víctor Villegas on 11^th October begins at 20.00 with tickets priced at 20, 25 and 30 euros.
